I received my child’s authorized user card. Should I activate it? She’s not old enough to have it on hand.

I authorized my adult 47 year old daughter on my Amex. In less than a month she charged 14K in debt. It took her a year to payoff the balance. I had to demand she finish payment it off and now our relationship is ruined. I became the bad guy because as much money as she makes, she was slow to pay it off. Never again!
