How to Fix Grim Reaper’s Rewards Event in the Sims 4

Sims 4: Grim Reaper Rewards Not Working? Quick Fixes

Few solutions I’ve found on reddit.

1. Make sure all your mods are up to date.
2. Try starting a new save file.
3. If you’re on pc/mac – try deleting AccountDataDB.package –give it a good repair game
side note: delete localthumbcache while you’re at it
4. Head to game options and tips and tutorials. Try resetting discovery and reset guidance tips
5. Mail carrier issues – chat/invite them in/object reset object

The steps listed didn’t help, so what I did was buy the grimaphone, and magically the quests re-appeared

What i did was open the ea app, go to my library, click on the 3 dots on the sims 4 game and click "repair". Fixed everything quick and easy.

I didn’t realize that people were having problems with the event. My mail carrier was glitching, though it was hilarious. She just stands outside my house, talking and greeting me over and over and over.

This was perfect timing. I was really upset trying to play the reapers rewards last night and it wasn’t working. It worked fine the first two weeks but I wasn’t able to finish week 3. So last night I tried to complete week 3 and 4 and it didn’t work at all

My method works for me. it's just moving the fam to Willow and has the basic mailbox and it's working even better 👏🏻✅️

None of the suggestions work. I saw on their forums that it said to remove the sims 4 folder and launch the game to create a new one and it worked at first, but now it’s Week 5 and even that’s not working anymore. I don’t know why these clowns thought it was a good idea to do an event when they can’t make their game work as it is.

Finally, a solution that works! The quests disappeared when I opened CAS during gameplay - I could see the icon, and open the rewards panel, but the quests themselves never popped back up. Deleting the localthumbcache, of all things, fixed the issue for me.
