Thanx again Joel, on many counts. As one who has 2 handicapped kiddos, I have been told they would be healed if I had enough faith. Nope, God's mercy is on them daily and at least, of all my family, I know they will be with God in eternity. Though while being interested in Revelation, it's not as important to me who the harlot is, as much as being excited that Jesus will come again in glory!! Your teachings have me looking at the end times in another way. Still learning....still seeking....still expectant. Maranatha!!

We may disagree on who is mystery Babylon, but I still really enjoy your teachings. You are one of my go-to brothers when all I want to focus on is the second coming of Jesus. The whole world has fallen. The powers and principalities of evil that is Babylon. Their is vile disgusting things in every large city, country, and kingdom. The problem is clean up your own soul threw Christ. Everyone is pointing fingers at each other. Calm down and open the door of your heart to Christ he is knocking at the door. The Jerusalem that now is,
IS NOT THE BRIDE.
I agree with Joel that Jerusalem TODAY is the woman being led to the wilderness during Jacob's trouble.
But there's just too many scriptures pointing to Jerusalem being mystery Babylon as well.

From Exodus, to Isaiah and Jeremiah, to Christ Himself, to Revelation.
There's too many correlations!

Now, the BRIDE, IS NEW JERUSALEM.

Jerusalem of today is NOT THE BRIDE OF CHRIST.

LOL! I'm just a few hours north of KC and I have the same dreams of mountains, ocean or something other than flat fields even though I love the people and the lifestyle here in the flyover country and I doubt I'll ever move too far from where I am for that reason.

Also Joel, a friend of mine keeps referring to those who follow Islam as “our Muslim cousins “. I absolutely have a heart for Muslims, but this is not sitting right in my spirit, considering what they believe about Jesus. Any thoughts to share?

One point I've tried to make but seems to fall on deaf ears: The word "Mystery" is NOT part of Babylon's title.

In the greek, John says Behold A mystery: Babylon the Great.

We should keep in mind that it's the REVELATION of John. Not the shrouded mystery of John.

Furthermore the angel says I Will Tell You the Mystery.

Might I suggest that Babylon is Babylon rising from the ashes. And that's why John marveled.

In Genesis Babylon was the BEGINNING of Nimrod's kingdom.

In Zechariah the woman in the basket is carried to the land of SHINAR to build a temple for her.
