Four Peaks Motherlode Traverse! - Brown's, Brother, Sister, Amethyst

The Four Peaks - Brown's, Brother, Sister, and Amethyst - are very prominent from the Phoenix Valley. Many people do Brown's Peak but bagging all the peaks via a traverse is another animal altogether. This should show you what this entails, so do it at your own discretion! Great views of Roosevelt Lake and the valley beyond.

Love your videos...I'm an "older" AZ hiker who will never do some of these technical adventures but I like watching them.

Appreciate the video! Hoping to do this one in the next couple of months. Would you recommend the bushwacking return over coming back on the ridgeline?

Need to make time to watch this next time the 'Dona stream goes down.

Have been to Brown's and Brother on one occasion then attempted to reach Amethyst by bushwhacking below/around the mine and up one of the main chutes on Amethyst. Got turned back by a gnarly scramble near the top.

That ridge scramble looked fun! I am jealous you get to hike so early in the season, we are still 6 weeks to 2 months out here in N Utah.

Great hike! Question - have you done the Mount Lemmon summit loop in Tucson ? Looking to do it this weekend but all trails isn’t convincing lol. Says the miles are slow and route finding is a constant issue. Thanks!

Welcome to the “Motherlode” club😂👍
Great job avoiding the Mine property. That’s my least favorite part of the traverse. If you ever plan on doing it again I strongly recommend gloves and long sleeves. It wakes dealing with the bushwhacking section less painful.
