I have so thrifted lanterns, they are black but they had to be repainted recently and then i did the ring at the top and the vent and handles in rose gold it looks really sharp. I love Ikea they are reasonably priced and most of their stuff is good quality and very comparable to places like Michael's, Winners, Home Sense and even Bed Bath and Beyond. I can't tell you when it was the last time I bought something for our house and l[ved the idea of it but I just had to either paint it, add something, for example, kohl's had 40% off day yesterday so I ordered 2 of the mirrored windows, but I ordered em in black wood cuz I already know I'll be painting them n distressing em lol, oh it's just the "curse of craftiness"!
