AP Physics 1 Torque & Rotational Motion Review

Показать описание
In this video you'll first learn to calculate torque are various angles. We will apply torque to a seesaw situation. Then we will compare linear and rotational (angular) kinematic equations. We'll look at the relationship between linear and angular quantities. Next we'll compare graphs for linear and rotational motion. Afterwards, we'll compare linear vs rotational dynamics. We'll look at the moment of inertia (aka rotational inertia). Using the work-energy theorem, we'll derive the rotational version and also define rotational kinetic energy. We'll apply the conservation of mechanical energy to a ball rolling down a ramp, taking into account rotational KE. Next we'll compare linear and angular momentum, and apply the conservation of angular momentum for an ice skater spinning. Lastly, we'll set up a "Disk Collides with a Rod" problem.
