American here. Not a plant main, but I DID learn all the combo lines to meme on people on MD. It wins almost every time if you're exactly Jess, or have the lines written down lmao. The main enemy was the clock because I'd time out trying to set up me board 😭

Im a Plant main myself and I'll be honest, the only reason Plants succeed is because opponents continue to not read Plant cards and continue to interrupt the deck incorrectly.
I have watched all Plant feature matches in the last few years and every victory can be attributed to the opponents interrupting the deck incorrectly, misplaying, or just dumb luck (ie. Opponent draws no handtraps or useless ones against plants). Its embarassing for the opponents honestly.

Its a bad deck, but I still love it.

The plant deck, like most irl plants, can survive in some of the most harsh environments. It can dry as a desert but itll sprout between the little cracks of a driveway or asphalt lot and never leave despite the amount of weed killer you use. Theyre tough little nuggets of fiber.

Its wild to me every time it tops and the person does a profile it also includes 'my opponent didnt know whay my cards did so they misplayed and i won'. It does really well when people forget what the cards do but then can't get past day 1 once people remember it exists.

As a plant player, I enjoy its potential to make or even break combos. They have a lot of lines or arguments to consider based on your players' reactions.

Plant deck is just like branded. The combo lines can go anywhere and there's no real choke point. And it still have access to best removal option in the game.

Plant isn’t a bad deck it just has a good pool for its own archetype literally they can just play everything plant and lock themselves into plants which is basically their entire deck meaning they don’t need any non engine to keep extending through hand traps other than triple tactical talents but even that mostly used as a board breaker
