I find I do this about once per year (which is thousands of at-bats, so once a year isn't too bad). Last year I did it, the batter looks at me and says "that's only 2" which I full well knew because I had just given a 2-1 count before the pitch... without missing a beat, I turned a little towards the crowd and repeated the punch-out while shouting "Strike TWO!". Laughs all around, "good one blue!"

OogleManiac, it's OK for an MLB umpire to make a mistake ON VERY RARE occassions, but CB Bucknor is possibly the worst umpire in the game. He ranks down with Bill Hohn and Angel Hernandez. If there wasn't an umpire's union, CB would not have a job in the league.
