For me, most of what fails seems to be cords. I've repaired or replaced: Yaesu HF power cord, LDG tuner cord for Icom, wire antennas I've built (repaired in the field a few times), coax a few times, and a connection inside a 9:1 balun I wound that worked for many activations before failing. Oddly, I've never broken a mast. I probably will tomorrow now that I've typed that. Oh, I broke a mic cable on my LNR LD-11 when I was out in California, they were great and shipped me a new one on their dime. You're spot on Stu, if you're not breaking stuff, you're not operating enough. Good video. 73 de w8tam
