Different Types of Fog (E)

Fog is a cloud at the surface. Meteorologically fog is formed when the visibility falls below 1000mnwith relative humidity greater than 75%. It is made up of millions of tiny water molecules when air is cooled near the earth’s surface. There are 6 types of fogs, out of which adventive fog and radiative fog types are widely noticed in India. Fog causes a lot of inconvenience to the general public. Climate scientists are interested in understanding fog better so that they can forecast it.
