This rendition of the song gives a real sense of an actual battle among actual armies. The vocalization is more succinct than the song's predecessor, the rhythm gives it a battle hymn feel, and the deep instrumentation makes it feel guttural, almost primal. I could listen to this song on repeat all day, and in fact did during one of my days of driving cross-country.

This is the first song I ever heard by Skald! I was at a Full moon 5K race and I was dying. This song came on and gave me energy, and I was like damn who is this. I've been obsessed ever since! I had to catch up to my daughter and let her listen! I don't normally like songs when they are redone. Better than the original!
