Four charged with assault after beatdown at Cheddar’s

Four family members have been arrested after a brutal beating in a Cordova restaurant that left a teenage employee badly injured last Sunday.

Darius Brantly SHOT A MAN TO DEATH in 2019, plead guilty and was given 3 YEARS for a murder. They let him take a voluntary manslaughter charge over first degree murder, which it was. This super predator should have never been free to hurt that kid.

Working customer service is no joke. I did it for almost 15 years before I changed careers. I've had my life threatened, and hands put on me, for trivial matters. People cannot control themselves when they don't get their way. This poor child needs justice.

What I hate most about this is although they were caught and charged, they most likely tried to justify their actions and probably still are. They are an embarrassment to not only their community but also their family.

I hope they each get a minimum of 10 years. Hurting someone to this degree over a table is despicable. This young man didn’t deserve this. I can only imagine the violence these people have gotten away previously. I hope they each get 10 years minimum. Stay strong young man and prayers for you mom as well.
