When the cop saw signal, he could’ve backed off and let him in

I watched. I believe the cop had slowed down when the car ahead of him went down the ramp. Then the cop was trying to resume his speed when the man tried to enter his lane. He never began his signal until he was already entering his lane. It's that person's responsibility to make sure he's not entering someone else's space. I am always amazed at the number of people that always say the other person should slow down to let him in. I seldom have ever met those people that want to do that, especially with the number of people who slow down after they get in front of you. And, how many people would say that if it wasn't a cop? The person entering his lane almost caused an accident!

A courteous driver would have allowed the car to overtake him, being in the right or slow lane.

In the drivers defense, the cop was hanging in the drivers blind spot . Very aggravating when people pull up on your right rear and just hang there.

ticket will get thrown out. the cop paced him to prevent him from entering the lane. That is a major traffic violation.

That's weird.... The other day an undercover cop car that looked just like that cut me off... And I didn't have any lights to flash at him....
