I've read Pepper's trilogy - thought they were cute! I think the 2nd one was my favorite woman but enjoyed all 3.

These all sound really good. I definitely want to check out Twice Sold Tales sometime. Thank you for the recommendations! I definitely want to read more Christian fiction but I feel like I wouldn’t like all of it. But I think the things you described about these books make them sound appealing. ☺️💙

I would highly recommend, Love Overboard and Of Love and Treason, in addition to the The Timeless series. My favorites of 2024. All have high faith content. Loved this video. Going to previous years. So helpful.

I wasn't expecting to be so excited about picking these books up but "what happens next" is particularly nostalgic to me, these are the kind of contemporaries i love. I adore what you said about authors being more bold with their christian faith in their books - there is definitely a market for it!
recommendation: I would love your opinion of beautiful lies by Valicity Elaine. It is a dark romance that has a fair amount of faith content but I had a lot of mixed feelings about it.
Thanks for the video

I will be adding 'What Happens Next' to my list - sounds real good! I recently purchased Authentically Izzy. I just finished a book that recommended other books in almost every chapter.
It was a story based around a bookshop in York, England and the people connected to it during the pandemic. I read it in two days, 'Found in a Bookshop' by Stephanie Butland. I need to pick up her other one 'The Lost Words Bookshop'.

Have you ever made a video on recommended biblical fiction? Meaning, books taking place during biblical times. I'd like to read more Christian books but i just can't with contemporary Christian fiction. I've tried looking through your channel but you have so many videos :). Thanks!

Ooh, What Happens Next sounds really good! I'll have to check that one out. Apparently the only Christian fiction I've read in the last year that I would recommend are the last 2 books in the Out of Time trilogy by Nadine Brandes. I guess I need to fit more into my reading this year 😅

Okay -- two Christian Fiction recommendations that I think you might like -- Bitter and Sweet by Rhonda McKnight. Two more or less estranged sisters with compelling backstories -- Deep layers of personal and family drama culminating in divine healing. It's not your typical CF novel -- grittier, edgier, more plain speaking maybe. But so impactful!

Then, since you enjoy mysteries -- not sure if you've read this series, maybe the first one? Can't remember. Anyway -- the Annalee Spain Mystery series by Patricia Raybon. The third book just came out and Truth Be Told is the best yet. Definitely a series you need to read in order because of the character development and relationships. There is some light romance...but this is by no means a romance. Annalee Spain is an African American woman in 1920s Denver Colorado facing off against racism and white supremacy and all that entails as she fights for justice. She has a great 'posse' of unlikely characters who assist with her amateur sleuthing. It's funny and serious...even tragic at times...but so rich in history (both the good and the bad.) I hope there are many more Annalee books to come!

Oh, boy... I have tons of richness... where do I begin? (and thanks for including Milton and Co. They're favorites of mine).

Have you read The Divine Proverb of Streusel? It's by the same author who wrote Mrs. Kip. Chautona's Agency Files series is also good. She was working on another Bookstrings book.
