2022 Platinum Jubilee 50p Coin VALUE & INFO. The 2022 newest 50p coin Queens Platinum Jubilee will be available 4th January in the annual coin set and January 6th for general sale. Will the 2022 platinum Jubilee 50p Coin be released For UK Circulation? I don't believe so but only time will tell.

Quiet a jump in price for the annual coin set this year, big moneymaker for the mint, but it’s the only way people will get there hands on it, unfortunately I’m looking at two set this year, granddaughter got a special birthday, 🥳 thought it would be something to remember it by, as for the 50p I’m on a subscription list with CC so should be getting them in the post.🤔 same with the £2 coins, but for someone who’s just starting collecting, it an massive amount of money 😡

I got one in my change at Tesco a few weeks back. It was in almost uncirculated condition. I look forward to when the Royal Mint reveal just how many of these coins were struck in all by the beginning of next year. I would imagine they will be worth a bit more than face value, not as much as Kew Gardens perhaps, but anything above face value is not to be sneezed at. But I know it's vulgar to think about profit in light of recent events with the death of the Queen, so I apologise if I am coming off as such here.

It's so sad that the royal mint bring coins out and you have to buy them some should complain to them all they want to do is make money out of us it's about time they did away with some of the old 50ps so annoying 😟
