Have you tried Arch Linux ARM? All of my Google searches for installing Linux on the Chromebit lead me to this distro, but I have never seen anyone take an in-depth look at this distro on YouTube.

Thank you for taking the time to show off one of my FAVORITE computers!

Nice video!

The flathub issue may be unsolvable, as Flathub only supports the x86_64 and aarch64/ARMv8 (both 64-bit) architectures, while the Chromebits Rockchip RK3288 SoC is a ARMv7 (32-bit) chip. While the error looks different, solving it won't solve that problem. This means you are stuck with whatever is in Alpine's and postmarketOS's repositories or what you can compile from source or package yourself.

Makes me wonder if FydeOS or BlissOS would run better on this device when it comes to installing & running apps, mainly streaming ones like Netflix, Peacock, or Hulu

I'm a little late to this party, I happened to acquire one of these little chromesticks; eager to give some things a whirl. Any updates for that arch attempt? Any new comments about the device since the video was uploaded? Please an thanks~!

Hi, this video is very useful, but can I tell you something, where did you find the right Linux for this device?

Would it be possible to install Win 7 or XP on the Bit device?
