I own a Girardi bass (Bloom 5 strings). In Italy, it's an established brand for some time now and is growing very rapidly because these basses are designed to rock! To all those who want to give lessons on varnishing, I can only say "go look at the other models!"

Ho provato quasi tutti i modelli di Girardi in fiera e devo dire che mi hanno sorpreso fin da subito per suono e comodità, davvero eccellenti!

I want it. Perfect for me. Already have two Ps with Jazz necks, but this is in a category of its own. And damn the haters, this thing is beautiful.

I tried this bass and it's fuckin' awesome. I played with the pick and it has a killer sound. I like it very much in every aspect.🎸🔥

Slap sound is surprisingly good compared to the classic-ish finger style sound. Very responsive pickup I guess, reacting well to the dynamic of the playing. Always nice to see you guys trying gear ^^

That thing is the greatest embodiment of "Its so ugly its beautiful" I've ever seen.

I would really love for more bass-builders to experiment with angeled pickups. i absolutely love how in a reversed P pickup, the high strings still sound full but if you listen very closely you will hear the slight jump from the a to the d string, where the pickup position changes. a angeled pickup would make these changes much smoother, just like the did here. Fantastic sound, but not really my looks...

ugh! Fake distress! If I wan't a bass with mojo, I want to be the one who earned that mojo.

I wish more companies would make 5-string P-basses.

I'm surprised how many people are still bugged by the fake distressed finishes. When they first came out (about 600 years ago), it was outrageous. Who are you trying to fool?, we all thought. At this point, it's just another finish, nobody is fooled and nobody is trying to fool anybody. Like a sunburst or a sparkle, both of which are to a degree fake vintage, though not fake used. I think it's cool. If I owned this bass, I'd ditch the ramp and the pickguard, and feel secure knowing that my vintage comes from my career, not my bass, and this bass is f***ing cool.

The more people hate this bass in the comments, the more I like it! 🤩

Those factory "distressed", "worn" and "relic" finishes are a disgrace.
