My entire portfolio is covered call ETFs and I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER.

once you truly understand this, you realize covered calls + mild leverage is the millionaire maker.

Thank you for this video. I am big fan of HDIV, like many others here. It has been on a tear lately and has only increased dividends since inception unlike HMAX which I am also invested. Keep up the good work. Dave- Nova Scotia

Wow you nailed my 3 top & favorite holdings! ENCL, BANK & BKCL are my largest holdings in that order. I've started positions recently in HDIV & QQCL. I've watched a lot of your videos over the years this is by far my favorite!! ❤❤❤

Very well done!! Thanks. I like 4 of those. 25% leverage is a reasonable percentage. Get some juicy distribution with a moderate risk due the underline stocks are solid.

Excellent video. I'm 60 and retired, I hold BANK, HDIV (Substantial amount) in my TFSA and RRIF. ENCL (Non Reg, small amount). HDIV increased the monthly dividend to .1710. I'm in the positive for all of them. HDIV is my absolute favourite of the six. EQCL and QQCL may be in the future as I look to deploy some of my RRIF and TFSA dividends.

TD Bank, Fitch Ratings downgraded its outlook on TD Bank Group to negative due to the potential impact of anti-money laundering deficiencies at the bank.
Buy or wait?

These are very interesting. Two of them I’ve never heard before. Thank you.

As you probably know, i hold most of these in varying degrees. I dont hold qqcl (i hold QMAX instead), and i dont hold HDIV (i hold PDIV instead). But yeah, im cautiously optimistic about CC etfs in general, and i can understand the desire for that leverage to hopefully retain the upside potential of the underlying holdings.

I have to recommend HCAL over BKCL. Canadian banks already give pretty good dividends so selling CCs on them seems kinda weird. It's a similar 25% leveraged but not equal weight, and it seems to be performing better so far, but both are pretty new so time will tell.

Hmm this is a good one, i am still on the sideline for the covered calls etf, but maybe i just need to do some more research 😉

Thanks, Candace. These are great options for income investors. I personally hold 2 out of the 6 and have done well with them.

HDIV is one of my favourite ETFs I hold it’s also outperforming many of the others except EIT 😊. Hamilton just increased HDIV from .165 to .1710! Side note on the leverage, my understanding is it’s 25% so like having a 250K mortgage on a property worth 1M. I guess risk is subjective, so far it’s been paying off, I compare it to the real estate as I am highly leveraged on real estate more than any stocks I own and it outperforms!

I don't know if you have a video covering this, but if you don't I just thought of an excellent idea. A video giving us Canadian alternatives to QQQ/Nasdaq Index Funds. Off the top of my head the three best are QQCL, QQQY (Evolve) and Qmax. Right now QQQY is my biggest holding and I'm very pleased. The Nasdaq keeps hitting new highs and I think once interest rates head down will do very well. Before I switched to mostly index funds I had Bank and that was a favorite, but qqqy is doing incredibly well. I also had QQCL but switched to QQQY because the total performance is higher and QQQY is more tax friendly.

I thought that ROC was the best way to be taxed?

I have lots of leverage ETF’s and over all the market goes up more then down over the long run which means you will make more with the upside and you get this leverage cheaper then what we can get leverage on are own.

Great options for registered accounts where margin is not allowed.
