Rochester officials provide update after 2 police officers were shot, 1 killed

Two police officers were shot Thursday night in the city of Rochester.

This is so horrible. I hope with everything in me that they are caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Rochester residents you owe it to this officer’s family to comply and tell everything you know. DO NOT PROTECT THESE COWARDS!

Lawful gun owner who shot these cops…. Remember criminals don’t fear laws, police… therefore they must learn to fear their victims! Victims need to have the right and the means to defend themselves!

Everyone who is stopped by police knows that the police officer can literally pull out their sidearm, shoot the driver of the stopped vehicle in the head for no reason, then tell their supervisor "I thought he was going for a weapon!" and get away with murder scot-free. Is it any surprise that most people fear for their safety when in the presence of police, even for something as minor as a traffic stop, and try to defend themselves? This incident in the end result of years of police misconduct all over America. Start holding police accountable for their many crimes OR stop having armed police officers conducting stops for simple traffic violations; one or the other. That is how we solve this.
