About Lynn Mares:

I'm just a woman who loves to quilt and sew! I worked in dentistry for 40 years as a hygienist. I learned first hand working as a hygienist the importance of ergonomics.

From the proper chair, tools, eye magnification, it all mattered to keep my body feeling healthy.

I ventured into quilting 15 years ago. I worked part-time in a local quilt store, and was surrounded by many talented ladies, I honed my craft. I found that quilting demanded the same attention to ergonomics as dentistry. The proper cutting table height, a decent sewing chair, and a sewing cabinet for organization and comfort, that all helped keep my body sewing longer.

I now use this knowledge at Arrow to understand other sewer's needs and help them create a room of their dreams. Ensuring they can do what they love, sew in comfort, and ease. Personally, I am also happily sewing with two cats and a dog plus teaching my grandchildren how to sew.

(Working for Arrow sewing is a natural fit for me. It’s exciting to be around people whose interests lie in helping crafters do what they love longer by better organization and comfort.)
