Reminds Me of a night spent camping on our grandparents' land... several hundred acres with all 7 children inherited some property and including a parcel on which his church was built and the family cemetery down the holler up from the Betty Springs. My cousin and I were camping but he wouldn't go out walking around with me due to all the wild critters. So I went alone and I remember it like yesterday. The moon was full and seemed to light the whole holler up and I breathed in deeply the smell of summer in the country and all the nocturnal animals made their assigned contribution to the Sounds of night... I'll never forget that big flat rock sat on the left like a chair and I decided to sit there awhile. It seemed like all my senses were on high alert breathing in all that night on my papaw's farm had to offer...
