I lost my Golden retriever to my psychotic ex- the judge screamed at me that he wasn't going to treat a dog like a child custody case. My ex didn't have any emotional attachment to her, he just fought to keep her to hurt me. She was my heart and I had rescued her from the dog pound. He ended up being sent to prison for trying to kill me and then his family held her hostage and refused to give her back to me. I'm certain she grieved herself to death...and I almost did too. To some of us, our dogs ARE our children. The judicial system needs to understand and acknowledge that, and deal with these cases accordingly. 💔

the way this man is being treated by judge judy is a prime example of why truck drivers dont like the legal system. She started on a path out to get him long before he even walked into the court room.

The judge should understand this case isn't about money, this is a case about the man's emotional attachment to his dog. The judge could act a bit more like she is in family court and not in small claims court.

There are a lot of company that actually permit this trucker to have their pet with them. So I am surprise the judge does not know about this policy.

Judge Judy was annoying me in this case. The plaintiff had plenty of valid explanations for all her questions and she kept getting frustrated with him for no reason.

It's crazy how he got the dog before he was even with the woman and he still has to fight for the dog. No way would a judge do this is it was someone trying to take custody of the other person's child they had with a different spouse!
