Evans EQ4 Heads on VK Drums Aluminium Bass Drum

Cutting a hole in an Evans EQ4 reso head to reduce the pressure in a 14" deep Van Kleef aluminium bass drum. The video shows a few different tunings of the heads and the difference between an empty drum and a muffled drum.

The microphones are an Aston Spirit above the knee and an Audio Technica AT2050 in front of the bass drum. There is no EQ or compression on either of the mic signals. Audio was recorded into a Zoom R16.
