Dien Bien Phu to Luang Prabang - Part I to Muang Khua

The first of 3 videos tracing the journey from Dien Bien Phu in Vietnam to Luang Prabang in Laos. In this one, we travel from Dien Bien Phu to Muang Khua - a short 105kms. But the ride takes a lot longer as you'll see. Then we check out the pretty little border town of Muang Khua on the Nam Ou River.

2014 Dien Bien Phu to Luang Prabang in one day, 18hrs drive. Not having the’seat beside the driver (lucky one you), but a foldable seat in the middle with a huge bag of goods where my legs should be. And a verry rude drive. The worst day of my life (and i’m old 😃), since y allready had backpain before

it is only in vietnam, the bus driver smoking when driving
