In the past 50 years, we have gone from using computers that filled full air-conditioned rooms, to having tablets that fit in the palms of our hands. Advances in hardware and software have led to this revolutionary innovation in technology. Krish wants to share the importance of kids learning to program, to fuel the next wave of innovation.

My name is Krish Mehra, and I am 11 years old and I am in sixth grade. When I was eight years old, I became interested in coding. Since then, I taught myself multiple coding languages including HTML, Java, Python and Swift. This has lead me to create two apps that have been published on the iOS App Store.

Now I am 15 y/o and I have been coding since age 10. I have taught my self Java, C++, Python, JavaScript, CSS and HTML and I just want to say coding is easier if you think it is easy all you need is to be logical.

This is an amazing thing, that our technology is going to develope so much in next 10yrs than it has developed in previous 5 decades,
really I think that kids should be taught computers from their early childhood, because who knows one day they could be a inventor of tech

So I'm upstairs and heard my children watching pointless tv shows. I hacked the tv downstairs and they're forced to watch this video because I'm controlling the TV from upstairs. 😜

By now, he'd be getting ready for college. Regardless of which he picks, I'm sure he'll get accepted.

I started at 11 years old with Mallard BASIC on an Amstrad PCW with CP/M. Now I try to teach my 8 year old daughter. I think coding should be learned by children. Programming changed my life.

I enrolled my kid today to a coding class, then after attending the class with her, I decided to do a little more research on coding. Insightful video, coincidentally, you mention my country 3:48
