These sorts of disclaimers are pretty weak stuff, to be honest. They pop that on Twitter, and then spout the most dishonest, venomous and egregious stuff regardless. And to be fair, why are they even saying it? It’s SUPPOSED to be true. Saying that “well, y’know, I thought it was true” is such a weird thing to say in that profession.
