Yesterday evening we were wide-eyed when the apron staff of the FMO took both de-icers, which are affectionately called elephants, out of the hall at 8 degrees. The Eurowings pilots of flight EW6807 to Palma de Mallorca saw ice formation on the wings during the outside check. Expensive for Eurowings but all the better for us!! So here is a timelapse of a de-icing process at Münster/Osnabrück International Airport!!
