I have been married 31 years. I look at it this way. We retain who we are in heaven, our peronalities & experiences we had that were loving & positive. You will still have the closeness because it is part of who your are / were. You will love that person you had that special bond with. You can hang out in heaven with each other as much as you like but Jesus will be the object of your ultimate devotion.
