In a tribute to actor and writer Catherine O’Hara, singer-songwriter and actor Noah Reid performed Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You,” filmed in Toronto, Ontario. Ms. O’Hara received a 2021 Governor General’s Performing Arts Award. The televised special honouring the 2021 GGPAA laureates aired on CBC and CBC Gem on November 26, 2021.

What a beautiful song. Years ago when I was 12 years old I saw Catherine O’Hara at Toronto International airport ( before the renaming
) I recognized her from SCTV as my older siblings used to watch it. Anyways I looked over several times working up my courage and several times she noticed me looking at her. I asked my mother for a paper and pen and walked over to her and asked for her autograph and she was simply kindness it’s self and I still have it today. When my daughter started watching Schitt’s Creek and I told her that I had her autograph and showed it to her she was Star Struck. She is the best.

I agree. She’s a true treasure and giant talent. And Noah Reid’s version of this great Joni Mitchell song is absolute brilliance. A perfect tribute to a wonderful person. And in true Schitt’S Creek style the humor and the honest emotions go hand in hand! It’s perfection!
