I still come back to this trailer from time to time and I find it to be so bittersweet. The Freelancer in the trailer (ignoring the portrayal of its firepower) is the ship I fell in love with as my daily driver and live aboard. It's a crying shame that the ship we received doesn't live up to the one in this trailer in any way, shape or form. Hopefully CIG look back at this trailer when it comes to the Freelancers next review but I suspect we'll never receive the ship shown here.

I started playing about 2 years after this video was posted and this video is the reason why I got into the game. The free lancer was the first ship I ever got. The game was so bad and laggy with no frame rate back then, but I didn't care...

I had a Freelancer.
I hope the re-release this variant some day and just call it an older model.
