The sound of the 2 stroke and the sight of the front tire coming up gave me goosebumps. Brought me back 25 years. Awesome video Thank You.

AJ. Wow, what can I say. It was the coolest thing ever to watch you rip around on my CR250. Then to hear you compliment it like that is totally awesome. You’re always welcome to take it for a few laps. I even put fresh brake pads all around on it. Stops a little better now. Lol. Thanks again, oh and now I do 1 handed, and stand up drills every time I practice.

There is a reason Jeremy McGrath rode the '93 CR250 for so long, he loved the way it felt! He used the '93 frame all the way through 1996. The suspension on the 95-96 was really good. Go find ya a an old steel frame CR250! You'll love it! I'll never get rid of my '93!

I’m 49 and ride a 2021 YZ250X just because I love that 2 stroke hit!

Slip the clutch in the corners to keep it on the pipe. It will pull much harder coming out of the corner if the revs are up and lower lap times.

It was easy to tell you were having more fun on the 250! I'd happily watch 4 stroke vs 2 stroke every week.

I was a kid my dad got himself a 95 cr250 for Christmas. Had the hot pink plastics. It sat next to the Christmas tree in the living room for about 2 weeks

Just like our Uncle Ron taught us... two strokes rule!

I have a 2003 CR 250 and a 2006 KX 450 F and in the corners I’ll take the two stroke every day of the week. It corners so much better and it’s so fun especially in the woods.

I have a 2019 crf450 and a 2001 Cr250. This video really makes me want to put some money and love into my 2001 and get it feeling right

If I'm ever able to attend one of your classes I'll let you have a go on my 86' CR500. No other bike can give you a smile like it can!

The power band on a 2 stroke is hella addicting! I'll take the 95!

Sweet, love the 250. I could tell as soon as you got up to speed how much more fun you were having on the 250, exactly why I still ride a two stroke going on 40 years now. Cheers

I had a 93 ... just like you said great cornering and blue collar suspension that works. I have not ridden a newer 4- stroke and probably wont get to, but I am cool with that knowing I had a 90's era CR 125 and 250. Both were a LOT of fun. Miss those days

I am the original owner of a '93 CR250 McGrath special. I was shopping in 1996 for a dirtbike and the fella at the Honda shop said: "You know, we have this '93 in a crate back there. We'll take another $1000 off if you take it over the '96." My Showa forked '93 with the 1-800 Collect graphics and plastics will beat just about anything. I am a REAL old-timer now a days. My '93 CR 250 might be the best bike on the planet. I had the suspension redone with Factory Connection way-way back in the day. I have the FMF pipe and the Boysen Reed--other wise, pretty much stock on the engine. I am a tall fella, so I have tall seat foam and bar risers on my Pro-Tapers--and 96 plastics just like this fella, but I dig my bike. When I take it out, it draws a crowd. I'd put my '93 up against the '95 any day. And the '95 is pretty sweet! If you are ever in Sac--maybe for Hangtown--shoot me a note, I'll let you take it out. LOL

Niiiice! I have a 96' kx 250 2 stroke with big bore kit..built ground up and I love that baby! Everyone wants to ride it when I bring it out. I still want me a 500 and a rmz 450 then I'm done purchasing bikes, oh and 300 ktm! That's it I think lol! Thanks for sharing AJ! Be safe out

The CR250 also has a steel frame as opposed to aluminum on the new bikes. I'm guessing that probably had a significant effect on the 'sitting into the corner' feeling as well as just overall comfort and compliance.
