1st sack: Ebukam knew exactly where to go. Even though Stafford was under center and turned for the fake hand-off, Samson made a bee-line straight BACK to where Stafford would go/be after the fake hand-off. That's film study, boys and girls. As Coach Chapman said, Fred (and others) recognized the formation and knew the play before the snap. Add perfect execution and that spells d-o-m-i-n-a-n-c-e.
LOVE that you can make a 10 MINUTE video just on the sacks!! Man, this is going to be ONE HELUVA SEASON!! (if we stay healthy)
And I LOVE how on many of these sacks there are TWO that broke through and hit the QB. That's why it ain't just BANG! It's BANG! BANG! 9er Gang!

I've been waiting years for the 49ers to execute effective blitzes. We've done well with just 4 man in the past but sometimes you need to blitz on 3rd down and long. So you need to know how to blitz effectively. Not since Pete Carroll was our DC have I seen such well executed blitzes.

Is nice to look at highlights, but I think it proves the 9ers need to blitz. Someone said we blitzed 14 times in this game. Even though the Rams were terrible in the Red Zone, they still had 4 big drives down to the Red Zone. I think if rushing 4 isn't enough, then yes we will need to blitz more.
