Dumas Dragon Rapide Maiden Flight With Wicked Cool Awesome RC Crash

First flight of a tail-heavy model with a tendency to tip stall on a windy day. The only damage was a lightly destroyed wingtip and a popped interplane strut. It also scared the cat a little.

That wasn't a crash, it was a brilliant saved landing! What a cool model. I've built stick and tissue my whole life and just got a Tx and a couple of tiny Rx's Wheeee!

First real size plane I rode in was a Dragon Rapide in 1964 or so out of Coolangatta airport in SE Qld AUS. Nice model.
