I guess I'm not on the band wagon. When are the auto makers gonna start making real trucks again? All these new ones are just over priced pretty boy trucks. The kind you see pull up and some dude gets out wearing kakis, a pink polo, and shiny work boots.
I just don't find it logical to drive a 60, 000 ipod thru the cow pasture. And what ever happened to the manual transmission? Dang Big 3 make the working man a truck again.

Black smoke is unburned fuel, but are you saying that black smoke is never created? No, it's just being collected and burned up by the DPF. This engine isn't running more efficiently because the exhaust is clear.

There is black smoke, but it's caught in what's called a soot cooker, so you're still blowing unburned fuel, just not visible.

Looks like it takes several seconds after the engine is running before the gauges actually give you any information.    I guess the designers think it's cute, but it just annoys me.

Yeah, I remember the days of the old duallies.  Especially the old Fords with the twin I beam front end.  After a few years on the farm you didn't steer it so much as just influence its general direction.

The Ike Gauntlet should be a walkover for a Silverado configured like the one you tested. Love to see how it does vs its competitors.

It took more than 10 years for chevy to actually start using auxiliary switches in their trucks. What an achievement.
