So much to unpack in that therapy session. Adem was so quick to agree that Dilara always sided with the Borans, "Just like my mom." I'm sick every time Adem compares Dilara to his mother. He was the one emotionally and physically abusive - a classic example of the abused becoming an abuser. If only the therapist had the full story but I'm glad she called him out on his victimhood. It's also good he's had a female therapist. It's probably the first time he's had to be on equal and respectful terms with a woman.
