We are homeschooling. I found your videos when introducing my son to multiplication because I didn’t want him to just memorize his facts. I wanted him to be able to figure out the answer based on what he knows/can think through, not what he memorizes. Your multiplication table video was EXACTLY what I needed at the time! Then we joined Synthesis BECAUSE of your association with them. Once he burned through all of their material in two weeks, I turned to your YouTube videos. Sir, you are an absolute genius! We adore you in this household. 🥰Now I have a kid that’s begging to do more polynomial division with exploding dots. 😂 You’re a mathemagician! 🪄 Bless you for all you are doing to bring this love of math to all of us. Completely blown my mind here. Been teaching math for 9 years and I always hated the polynomial division algorithm. It's not very intuitive for students to use. Absolutely love this model, will definitely be using this next year.

I'm really enjoying the Exploding Dots curriculum. As a college educator who loves teaching basic math and arithmetic to adults, I really really wish you didn't use grade level or age as a reference for levels of understanding.
