Tatev Monastery - located in the Syunik Province of Armenia, is a renowned historical and architectural landmark. Dating back to the 9th century, the monastery holds significant cultural and religious importance in Armenian history. Perched on a cliff overlooking the Vorotan River Gorge, Tatev Monastery offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
The Tatev monastery complex includes the main church of Sts. Paul and Peter, as well as several other churches, chapels, and buildings. It served as an important center of learning, religion, and culture in medieval Armenia. The intricate stone carvings, frescoes, and architectural details of Tatev Monastery showcase the rich artistic heritage of the region.
Restoration of the monastery, re-establishing its educational legacy and reviving monastic life at Tatev is one of the main goals of Tatev Revival Program, a part of which is Wings of Tatev aerial tramway.
In 2008, the Tatev Revival Program was launched by the Ruben Vardanyan Foundation, with the aim of restoring the monastic complex. In 2010, as part of the program, the Dzit-Han oil mill was restored, which currently functions as a museum. In 2015 the Northern entrance was restored, in 2018 the Church of St. Astvatsatin, in 2019 the museum part of the Complex.

In this vlog we took our flight via Wizz air at Zayed International Airport, proclaimed as World's Most Beautiful Airport at the prestigious Prix Versailles and landed at Zvartnots International Airport, Armenia.
Armenia is a great travel destination, and we would love to come back over and over again!
Though UAE residents can avail visa on arrival, I applied online and get the visa after 2 days to avoid the hustle of ques in the airport.
Hotel: Paris Hotel Yerevan booked via Agoda - five ⭐️ for us. Cleanliness, Spacious room, Food are great! location is very accessible, all the things you need are available nearby(restaurants, shop, grocery, cafes, exchange and more) and staff are very accommodating.
Airline: Wizz Air(budget friendly airline in UAE)
