- It has been some time but Karasu’s Devil Fruit has been finally revealed to be called Susu Susu no Mi / Soot-Soot Fruit a Logia type that allow as the user to create, controls, & become soot. His bird-themed soot maybe a reference to an Italian folk lore called “Days of the Blackbird” which explains why the birds are black because a family of white birds went into a chimney in order to survive from the cold. Here are his techniques:
— Karasusu / Kara-Soot which is where he breaks himself up into soot shaped crows (which in Japanese is Karasu)
— Karasu Renkon (means “Joint Crow Souls”) / Crow Soul Lotus this is when he becomes a murder of crows to attack an opponent, but this can be a pun on a Japanese dish called Karashi Renkon
— Obelisusu (means “Square Pointed Soot”) / Obeli-Soots is when he uses obelisk-shaped soot to attack his opponent from below, & it is a pun on the Japanese word pronunciation of obelisk that being ”oberisku”
- Also revealed we see the other CP9 agents that being Jabara, Blueno, Kumadori, Fukurou, & Kalifa have become CP0 members which besides film Red only Kalifa & Blueno being in it we haven’t seen them since their cover story “CP9’s Independent Report”
