After months in the body shop, this 1983 Mercedes 280 SL is finally being painted. When I originally saw this car sitting in a field, it looked fine with just a rusty wheel arch. I never imagined it would need a full respray and had no idea how many hours of labour would be involved in restoring this car to its former glory. Thankfully, we settled on a fixed price!

Mike, how do you remove those two pieces that are painted (sitting in the boot area) that are right in from of the windshield on the left and right side? You have a video explaining that?

My car is same colour it costs me nearly £3k in Jerusalem to repaint and it took me a month to find an old fashioned car body shop that accepted to do it. It cost less than £1200 to repaint any car there but since I saw how much rust they needed to deal with it was a cheap job. It took them more than 5 weeks to get it done. The son of the shop owner swear that he will never accept doing these cars again.
