What about to "protect your business name?" For example, if you create a business and then someone else sees it is doing well so they file it JUST to have your name. Sort of what happened with Orginal Ray's Pizza in New York and the other business "Famous Original Ray's." I think this also happened in Chicago with Uno's Pizza.

Man, I'm so glad I saw this. I sell on eBay and I heard we needed an LLC. I made NO profit and I'm not sure if I need to fill out that extra form on profit and loss.
