1964 Ford Galaxie 500 XL White on Green

The '64 Ford Galaxie 500 is possibly the prettiest body design ever, and I'm not saying that because we had one. Ours was a solid black hardtop with a gray interior and the 390/300 h.p. option. In our small town of DeQuincy, LA, there was a guy who had a solid black one like ours, except it was an XL with WHITE interior and 390 also. I admit his was prettier due in large part to the stark WHITE interior option and the XL trim. His name was Jasper Russell. Jasper, if you're reading this, congratulations on one drop dead gorgeous car!

That Galaxie is hitting it hard with White paint & black interior with buckets. The skirts & bumper guards set it off too

Interior is BLUE. Just like the one my Daddy had when I was around 10 years old.

I've owned 17 Galaxies over the years and collect sales Literature and promos and toys of the Galaxie too. My all time favorite from 1959-1974.

This girl is all dressed up, fender skirts and front and rear bumper guards and hood ornament ! Beautiful car

I’ve always liked 64’s. It would look much cleaner without those incorrect fender skirts! At least they are easy to remove. Nice car!
