I subscribed. I like this I have a habit of slurring up to pitch, this helps because I always concentrated on sing the vowel on pitch.

Thanks for the explanation of hitting the pitch at the consonant level. My voice teacher many decades ago taught me these exercises without actually going into detail, so I never quite understood the reason for the technique. Up till now, I'm hardly ever (but not never😅) flat, but now I understand why. You are such a gem😊

Thank you for this. I started working on my consonants more after watching this video. I'm pretty proficient with vowels. But after more conscious effort applied to the consonants (particularly "T" "D" "NG" and "R" controlled vowels following the vowel). Achievement unlocked! This helped me "automatically" stabilize, particularity on long finishing notes.

I try to get every one, but "tt" is a little tricky. I am not hitting the sharp "tt" since it sound like over pronunciation. I also noticed that the timing has to be strategized so that even a single "T" doesn't make it sound choppy.

Still getting praise, applause and money doing my curbside concerts. 😅Rapidly growing into a real Divo. Even some haters have started giving me the nod of respect. I even had one local band "steal" one of my numbers ("Bare Necessities")! Rising star, here! Still tell everyone I can about you and your channel. Love you! 🤗💖💖💖

Just subbed to your channel, I look forward to absorbing all advice you give. Starting to wonder why no one claps at karaoke, maybe because I sing a lot of flat notes or I am SO GOOD, they are stunned and jealous 😂 I think it may be the former, or even better neither and I am just wanting to improve after listening back to the recordings
