Queer Poets In Greek is a non-profit website that aims to promote queer poetry in Greece, a country where sexuality and gender have yet to be seriously discussed in poetry, echoing the county's overall apathetic attitude towards LGBTQ rights. The website is run by a single person (trained in science) who works on it pro bono, without profiting from it in any way, while also being independent from the mainstream poetry scene of Greece. Any donations will help cover basic operational costs (website fees, poetry books, video & audio recording equipment).
