What is Sphere Sovereignty?

When the state has an inverted view of what is truly right and wrong according to God, what then is to be done when they attempt to interfere with the spheres of family and church?

What about the areas that don't fall under the jurisdiction of any one sphere, like media or business?

It is interesting that most pastors (including this one) who attempt to address the interactions of spheres of sovereignty only address when a government authority interferes to stop abuse within a home. The scripture doesn't directly address such a circumstance. The same pastors don't want to address the issue of interposition by individuals and local governments to oppose abusive and unjust government actions against its citizens. The principle of authority and submission only applies to authorities that are acting within their God-given scope (punishing evil and rewarding good). When a government goes beyond that authority it is no longer acting within its God-given authority. We don't preach that a household should submit to abuse. Why would we preach that the church or family should submit to abuse by the government?
