The Institute for International Economic Policy was pleased to host the annual GW India Conference on India’s Economic Development and U.S.-India Economic Relations. This year’s conference focused on “Making India an Advanced Economy by 2047: What Will it Take."

In the conference's closing session, Raghuram Rajan (Katherine Dusak Miller Distinguished Service Professor of Finance, Chicago Booth, and 23rd RBI Governor) presented on “Pathways to India’s Progress: Breaking the Mould." This presentation was followed by a discussion with chair Vivek Arora (Deputy Director, Independent Evaluation Office, IMF).
