That was spectacular. Definitely one of the HARDEST routines on Strictly and one of the best Showdances I've seen. I'd still give a ten despite the tumble. But the score didn't matter because Ellie and Vito WON.

Undoubtedly the riskiest and most wildly technical routine of the final with in-sync lifts galore, and to a very high tempo. I'd pay hard cash to see this again with them landing the final lift. Kudos to both of them for even attempting it let alone getting it 99.9% bang-on on the night.

I’m by far more impressed with how she saved herself at the end then if she’d of done it perfectly, her quick thinking was more impressive than that lift could’ve ever been! Amazing! I don’t want her ever looking back at this and thinking she messed up or she wished she could’ve done better, she should watch this back and think damn I did THAT! Because Ellie honey… THAT SAVE WAS EVERYTHING! It’s already an iconic moment in Strictly history. My favourite from week one, so proud! 🩷

Ellie apologising at the end of the routine, when she and Vito managed to save what could have been a disaster. Kudos to her for doing fantastic lifts that we havent even seen from the pro female dancers. She had no dance experience yet every week produced a high quality performance with Vito by her side as teacher and partner. Incredibly worthy winners.

This woman was the only one in the final to take real risks with her showdance. That was insane! Not even just the lifts and I could talk about those for days but the overall power, finesse, and trust between the two of them. This was a showdance! I loved all of the show dances from the night but everyone else played it safe. Ellie and Vito took a massive risk and I am so glad it paid off with a win.

Now THIS is a show dance! For the past few years it felt like most showdances have been pale imitations of one, they used to be so over the top brilliant and daring and that's what Ellie's was! Vito & Ella aka Vella OWNED!

It was SUCH a difficult choreography… It could have gone wrong in so many moments! What kind of faith U need to have in one another and what kind of partnership built to be able to perform like that…. WOW, I’m absolutely speechless and blown away! My favourites since day 1. Ellie, Queen, well deserved winning, BRAVA!! As I wrote couple of times before, Vito is an amazing teacher, choreographer and person. Such a sweetie, so happy for him too!! I believe that all female celebrities in future editions will pray to be paired up with him 🎉🎉

Pity about the ending and that is one tough routine! Holy moly! Ellie did brilliantly in keeping up with the demands of that choreography and it was a brilliant routine!! Bravo Ellie and Vito on taking that massive risk!! Also Brava to Vito for consoling Ellie on that mistakes!! I keep saying it but what a divine partnership! 9/10
