I??? I'm sorry, I cannot believe that back in the days, your average Irishman or woman had enough easy access to honey or dried fruit to add to their bread unless it was a special occasion. Esp when the English were being the English to them. I'm sure it's delicious, but I stand by the 4 ingredient recipe for a standard bread, this is a bit more like a cake to me.
