I adopted two wild mustangs from the BLM over 20 years ago. They are the greatest horses. They don't spook, they watch fireworks, don't mind cars horns or things blowing in the yard. They watched the house being torn down after the fire. None of the big equipment bothered them. If I wasn't so old I would adopt more!

I've never seen a horse get a hoof trimmed this way-- usually the hoof is lifted up in a harness-- so seeing a horse voluntarily offer it's hoof to me shows an incredible amount of trust and is evidence of the patience and dedication of the owner. But that's from my limited knowledge, for all i know trimming hooves this way is common.
