Sly Cooper Is Coming To PS5 #slycooper

Starting June 11th, PlayStation Plus Premium members will be able to download Sly Cooper & the Thievius Raccoonus on PS4 and PS5. A brand new Sly avatar is also available free for PS Plus members until June 12.

I wouldn’t be surprised if this is Sony’s way of testing the grounds to see if there’s a lot of money in for a new Sly game. You could also argue the same for the Jak and Daxter series as well.
I recommend to anyone who has this opportunity to please take advantage of this. If Sony looks and sees that this gets a lot of downloads then that could be a very good sign for things to come.

Given previous classic catalog games being also available to purchase without a ps+ subscription, the answer is you can buy it without a subscription or download it for free if you already have a subscription.

In australia the first game is just called Sly Racoon for some reason, even though the others have the normal title. Also the original is available for download on ps4 without a ps+ account.

To be honest, I’m technically very happy that they’re finally bringing back sly cooper but adding ps2 version to the premium so we can purchase the digital instead. Also the reason why they’re adding the ps2 version of sly cooper along with the ps3 sly collection it’s because the cloud stream of the ps3 aren’t available in every certain countries but only in USA.

Thankfully on ps4 it is purchaseable without premium for $9.99 it does have trophies and better ones than the ps3 version at that and it is a beautiful breath of nostalgia to play it again
