The time machine plot has been one of my favorites ever since I can remember. Originally published by Roy Walton and later retouched by Steve Freeman. Here is my take on this impromptu miracle!

If time travel were POSSIBLE, where or when would you go?

I am extremely novice at card sleight of hand. I can do a different variation of the time machine, so I know enough to see what you're doing without having watched the full tutorial. Your skills are so refined, that it looks effortless, but I know better. I'm just in awe of your ability to do these incredible lifts. Moving the card from the middle to the top while spinning... holy moly! The practice to get these motions down must have been immense!

Bro you’re a magician, stop making me contemplate my existence with all of your deep shit 😂

Can see why this would be one of your favorites, its not overly complicated, but very visual. Deffinately going to add this into my repertoire.

Absolutely a really cool trick. I love the recurring turning/winding motion. Keep it up Chris

Man, watching this video makes me sad to know that no new tutorials are coming. Please reconsider Chris! Tutorials like this do nothing but advance the magic community! It doesn't have to be every week but damn, it makes me sad to think what the community will lose if you don't continue. My skills have increased SO MUCH because of watching and being inspired by you! Either way man, thanks for all you do!

I'm late to this party, but I wanted to say that this is an exceptionally pretty handling. Combined with the "clock-winding" script, it adds a delicate grace to the visuals. Top shelf stuff - this is the kind of stuff that lesser mortals would hold back. Thanks for the gift of YOUR time to carefully teach this superb variation.

Greetings from Ecuador Chris, to be honest you are an inspiration to me, and the mentor that started me in magic, and with this video I'm grateful with you for sharing the community your knowledge and time. Keep on the amazing work. Your contribution to others makes you inmortal. Thank you!

I’ve found Using your intro about time as patter for this trick has a great impact on people. I also enjoy using it in the ambitious card routine as well. I got a chance to test it over the last weekend, and using a version of your intro as patter got great reactions.

Thanks for the Richard Feynman audio recordings at the beginning. Very appropriate for this trick. But it also reminded me what a great communicator of science he was.

Hey Chris! Thanks for another great tutorial. I have read a lot of the books you've recommended and have gotten better, but I'm a visual person and the little tips and tweaks you, and others like you, show have helped bridge some learning gaps. There's some really great stuff in the older book, but the language and illustrations are a little hard to grasp sometimes without being able to actually SEE how it's done. So thanks again and I'm looking forward to seeing what you'll be up to in NY!
